Healthy, low carbs: At age 44, shifting to healthy eating is the key. If you reduce salt, reduce carbohydrates, concentrate on good foods such as fruits, vegetables, helathy proteins you will feel better and lose weight. Doesn't happen overnight. Monitor the BP and see what it does and that may require treatment as a separate issue.
