Prolonged periods: At your age this is not typical. It is hard to tell about pregnancy when periods are irregular so a test is a good idea. Sometimes periods are not well regulated due to weight issues, such as underweight or overweight, or hormonal imbalances, such as polycystic ovary disease. It is not likely to be cancer, but it is very disruptive to have such prolonged periods so see a doctor and discuss options.
