A member asked:

End stage liver failure just beginning to jaundice an started vomiting a lot. is this from the jaundice?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pls get some help: Jaundice in the setting of chronic liver disease is serious stuff. Either there has been an acute insult to an already compromised liver, or liver failure is progressing. Cholestasis associated with jaundice may mean a blocked bile duct, altered blood flow to ;/or away from the liver, or worsening liver disease. Vomiting in this settng is complex ; due to many possible causes--get checked please.
