A member asked:

Where bilirubin is collected in jaundice is conjunctiva yellow?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes.: Bilirubin accumulates in the conjunctivae and skin causing a yellow appearance which first becomes noticeable at around a serum level of 2 mg/dl. Hyper-beta-carotenemia from eating way too many carrots can produce yellow/orange skin but no conjunctivae.
