Nasolacrimal duct : Stenosis is a common condition in which a membrane occludes the year duct . This results in tears draining from the eye onto the face and sometimes thick material which may be infected drains. You can massage the duct gently and if it does not open by 4-6 months an ophthalmologist can correct it via a simple procedure .
