I just got my radiology report and it says enlarged right ovary 1.2cm complex septated cyst. what does that mean and how do you treat it?

Metformin: You've got an ovarian cyst. The anti-diabetic drug metformin is the drug of choice for polycystic ovary disease (pcos). The herb berberine is also beneficial for pcos. I also suggest topical Progesterone cream (available over the counter) in a daily dose of 20-40 mg. One or a combination of the above may help.

Further eval needed: Please see your gynecologist for follow up on this. At your age, this is probably not a cancer but does need further evaluation and potentially surgical removal.

Not that complex!: A cyst at a size of 1.2cm is not that big and probably represents a normal finding. The description of a septation (or a wall in a cyst) is a 'complex' finding, but is probably of low concern. You need a followup scan in about 6 weeks.
