Hi docs, would pinched nerve cause severe pain around ear?

Pinched nerve: Ear pain and a pinched nerve would be quite rare. The innervation to the ear comes from a nerve at the base of the skull and there are really no nearby structures that can "pinch" this nerve. I would speak with an ENT specialist and look for other sources for the pain.
