Immunity/safety: Every year different strains of influenza virus circulate through the world. Some are very serious, causing high rates of complications and death. Yearly influenza vaccination protect populations from influenza, reducing the chances of an individual becoming ill or having a vulnerable person an individual comes into contact with becoming very ill.

Agree w Dr. Ponce: How would you feel if you transmitted influenza to someone who became very ill or died from it? We have more to protect then just ourselves. Take care.
