It depends....: If you have a simple cold, even with a low grade fever, you may receive a flu vaccine. If your fever is above 101, i would wait until you feel better before receiving the vaccine. Keep in mind however, that the sooner you become immunized, the sooner you will be protected! if york are less than 50 years old and do not have active asthma, you may want to consider the nasal flu vaccine, flumist.
