A member asked:

I tore my acl last weekend and have since had surgery on it to repair it. how much time will it take for it to heal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

6 weeks.: Generally, about 6 weeks for the acl to heal into your native bones and to get your range of motion back. Then it's about 6-8 months before you get all your strength and function back, to return to all activities, including sports.
