Not sure: The way you explain your symptom, i would think that the mucus went into your nasopharynx. This is the very back of the nose. It should not be a problem because that mucus will probably migrate down into the stomach. Remember, the nose produces about a quart of mucus daily and we swallow it normally. Do not worry.
