What do you recommend if i have a mental illness and medication and therapy aren't helping. what else is there?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many options: First, there are always other medications & types of therapy. Especially with the latter, the "fit" between therapist & patient makes all the difference. Besides this, it depends on the problem. For anxiety, there's relaxation training, yoga, & many other approaches. For depression, there are medical treatments like TMS & ECT. Some find relief in nutrition, herbs, self-help books, support, etc
