Repeat study: If you are not experiencing pain and are not jaundiced and this was discovered on ultrasound exam, you should have study repeated in a few months. MRCP is more exact study to exclude stone or tumor blocking duct and causing dilatation.Sometimes duct size on ultrasound varies a lot with technique and experience of person doing the study.
