See your doctor: It is common for GERD medication to work for a period of time, then stop working. Unknown why this happens. See your doctor to try a different dose, frequency, or another medication entirely. May need a consultation for an endoscopic or surgical procedure to confirm the diagnosis, and maybe treat the underlying cause. Hope this helps!
