Choose healthy: Make healthy choices such as fresh fruits, vegetables, beans, legumes. Also use portion control - don't overeat. Try to have a balanced diet, of 20% protein-60% complex carbohydrates and 2)% or less from solid fats ( unsaturated fats are preferred). Try to avoid sugar drinks and simple sugars. Have 5-7 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. Also try to be active- that is an important too
