Pull down lower lid: Most who wear a prosthetic eye will clean them regularly and can get it out by pulling down on the lower lid and sliding it out. After cleaning (some leave them out overnight), insert with lubricant by sliding it under the upper lid and pulling the lower lid over the bottom edge when the prosthesis will seat itself. There is a red rubber suction cup your ocularist can supply which can help.
