I have eye irritation after inserting contact lens?

Normal: A mild amount of irritation with contact lens insertion is normal. It typically lasts less than a minute. Irritation that is severe or lasts should cause you to remove the contact lens and seek professional help.

Contace lenses and eye irritation, what to do?

Leave out lens: If an eye gets irritated, red or the vision changes, then remove the lens until it improves. If the conditions persist see your ophthalmologist but keep the lens out until then.
