Define "flu": The everyday "common" flu is not dangerous. The influenza flu, which we can get vaccinated for, can be serious to the elderly, infants, and those who are immune compromised (i.e. Chemotherapy patients, etc.). It is estimated that there are approximately 30, 000 deaths per year due to the influenza flu.
