Unrelated: I am not aware of any way the shoulder pain is related to eating or drinking. It could be that shoulder is painful in certain positions you move your arm. Depending upon how long it has been going on you need to be examined to figure out what is going on with your shoulder. Please see your doctor who can do preliminary assessment and if necessary refer you to an orthopedic surgeon. Good luck.

Shoulder pain: It is conceivable that this is due, in some fashion, to irritation of the diaphragm with radiation to the right shoulder. Although this would usually occur in the left shoulder there may be something wrong in the upper gastrointestinal tract that is producing an irritant effect on the diaphragm. See a family practitioner or a general internist to begin a full assessment.
