A member asked:

If my skin is tan but my partner has dark skin, will my baby have a tan or dark complection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be either: There is no way (yet) to predict what will happen; your baby might be dark-complected, light-complected, or somewhere in between. And each succeeding baby might be any of those three as well. Several genes determine skin color, and the combination will be different for each baby.
