Sounds okay: Lymph nodes that swell and then regress are just doing their job. One that large is unusual but by no means extraordinary. If they are very hard, attached to the surrounding structures, or if you have obvious signs of illness (fever, weight loss, night sweats), then a biopsy might be in order. Otherwise, the lymph node is your friend and deserves to be left alone.
