How concerned should i be about a lymph node that swells up for a few days and unswells for a while? this has been going on for a few months. i did have an ear infection for three days but the swelling and unswelling was happening before and after?

Reactive lymph node: Hi: if the lymph nodes remains normal for the most of the time and swells intermittently (likely due to inflammation from infection or small trauma such as canker sores etc), then it's less likely to be serious. However, if you find the lymph node staying enlarged persistently without an obvious cause, you should visit your doctor to see if further work up is needed.
