Maybe: If a toddler does not have asthma or allergies it is safe for them to sleep with stuffed animals.

Some doctors: Recommend that toddlers not sleep with large stuffed toys or pillows until two years old due to concerns about suffocation. This allows them developmentally to roll away from or move these types of objects. I remember when my son was 1 month old, a relative brought up a 4 foot teddy bear (from mexico). It never went near his crib (actually it was out of the house almost immediately).
