See a doctor: Hi, it is impossible to say what needs to be done until you see a physician and get evaluated. Then the doctor can advise you as appropriate.

Out of shape: Start slowly with a combination of cardio and weights. This can include a low impact aerobic class, cycling, treadmill, or swimming. Martial arts can also be considered. Proper nutrition and hydration is as important and excellent shoewear. Integrating yoga or pilates or gyyrotonics may also be helpful to support flexibility.
