I have fibromyalgia and severe castrochondritis(sp). main trigger is laying flat or tossing and turning while sleeping. doc at loss. help?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Costochondritis: If you have an area of inflammation at the junction of your sternum(breast bone) and rib and you can touch it to find the painful area, a shot of cortisone type medication into that spot may relieve it. First try warm applications, liniment and, if you can take them, nsaids like Ibuprofen to see if they help. A rheumatologist can advise you best.
