Doctor can check: A pediatrician can take a look at a fresh poop, in the diaper. The parent can show the doctor what part of the poop is "oil". The doctor will want to know if the baby has been eating anything other than breast milk or baby formula, and will also want to know if the poop has changed in amount, odor, color, frequency, etc... Also, we worry more if a baby is not growing according to his grow chart.

Fat malabsorption: That sounds like fat malabsorption. She should be seen. Is she gaining weight normally?
