I am trying to learn about stem cells. can stem cells from an individual be transplanted and survive in another individual without immunosuppresants?

Different: From an organ transplant, stem cell are precursor of cells that have potential to adjust to their environment and develop into mature functioning units. There antigenic potential is much reduced as the older counterpart. My hunch, sometimes it can be done.

No: Stem cells have their own collection of antigens and if put in another human other than a twin, will generate antibodies which will kill the stem cells. Immunosupression is the only way for them to survive.
