One wonders: Why so much pain for so long? Defenetively pain pill issues include constipation and nausea, while antibiotics will wipe out normal gut flora, another issue. Please be evaluated by your doctor for further advice!

Narcotics: Opiates may induce severe constipation, but once off them if you increase the bulk foods in your diet and drink lots of liquids this should be short-lived. Some of your other discomfort may be due to coming off these drugs and having withdrawal symptoms. Good luck.
