No quick fix: I'm sorry your acne has been neglected up until now. Start applying topical benzoyl peroxide as you can tolerate and make an appointment with your physician. The benzoyl peroxide will not clear you, and you will need prescription-strength rx added to it. Several weeks on antibiotics may get things under control, or you may be a candidate for isotretinoin, rough but effective.
