Age dependent: The length of sleep is individual and age dependent in childhood years. The smaller kids - more sleep they require. The newborns need almost 20-22 hrs of sleep per day. As kids getting older - less amount of sleep they require. Longer sleep stretches at night (12-14 hrs) and few hrs of daytime nap (2-3) - works for most of the toddler infants. For more details check with your pediatrician.

Sounds okay: Bedtime needs to fulfill basic needs. The must get the required sleep for their age, and it must fit your lifestyle/routine.If this works for you and they get enough sleep, you are doing well.
