Diabetes: "it was high" is not very specific, but doc said to stop drink. Do you mean alcohol? Is your doc saying that his liver enzymes are high? If so, then this may require further investigation. If the liver enzymes are high, this could mean viral or other forms of hepatitis or fatty liver, which is common in diabetics, and can range from benign to serious.
