No: The results of an EMG test and nerve conduction studies are objective, and not influenced by a patient's pain, pain medications, or behavior. Emg/nerve conduction study results cannot be 'faked'.

Obscure, not fake: While poor relaxation or deliberate effort can make an electromyogram difficult to interpret, in the hands of a skilled operator there is no way to "fake" an abnormal result.
