What are the long term effects of ovarian cysts and secondary dysmenorrhea?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Age 45 & cysts: It is not uncommon for cycles at this age to be anovulatory and contain ovarian cysts. The cramping however, is usually reserved for women who are ovulatory. If it persists, see a GYN MD.
