No: Benign ovarian cysts may or may not be related to dysmenorrhea. There r other manifestations of ovarian cysts --- overall they can exist and be silent too. Similarly dysmenorrhea doesn't have to be related to ovarian cysts. It can signify anovulatory cycles or endometriosis too. All females produce egg once a mnth which presents itself as cysts in ovaries. If concerns -- consult with ob/ gyn.
