In general: Once a diagnosis of ADHD is made by a pediatrician or mental health clinician the next step is medication management as this is one syndrome in psychiatry that responds very well to medication management alone. However, behavior therapy is also quite helpful. See http://www.chadd.org/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=YHwgb0eUwhY%3D for other helpful information. Take care.
