How can i successfully quit smoking?

Set a quit date and: Deal with it in many ways. Nicotine replacement therapy (patches, gum, lozenges, inhalers) are effective and safe, zyban (bupropion) is also effective but has side effects and needs a doctors prescription and monitoring. Chantix (varenicline) has had the best success (almost 40% quit rates) but can increase depression and some heart problems. Behavioral programs, cold turkey works for some.
