IT depends but...: if it's a tick bite and you have recently been in the woods (or backyard North Carolina) then it would explain your symptoms... of Lyme's disease or Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Or it could all be a flu virus and incidental bite mark from a flea. Please get yourself checked out by healthcare provider.
