Yes: A normal CBC does not rule HIV infection in or out, though during the initial sickness there are likely to be atypical lymphocytes and late there is likely to be lymphocyte depletion.

HIV does not....: A CBC is in no way any kind of tool to diagnose whether one is HIV positive or not. I would like to know more and why you are not getting an HIV test if you are worried you may have contracted hiv.
