Sore throat: Your daughters symptoms could be due to a virus or bacteria. The viral form will ultimately resolve on it's own. All that is necessary is fluids and rest. The bacterial form, however, will require antibiotic treatment. This form is commonly known as strep throat. The only way to differentiate between the two is by being tested by your doctor. I recommend a visit to your doctor so that this may be.
