I just had a upper endoscopy today and found that i have salmon colored musosa from 44-45 esophagus, is barrett esophagus always the cause of this problem, treatment options, biopsies were taken.

Would wait...: Would wait until the biopsy results and then discuss those results with the doctor. That's the best option.

Ask your doc: This is a question you should have asked the doctor who did the scope. He likely had obtained a biopsy on the abnormal mucous membrane and can give you a more accurate answer. As with all future doctor encounters, be sure to ask questions regardless how fundamental they may seem.
