Half of molar #14 is gray. hard painless bump on hard palate above tooth. no pain in tooth. not red or ulcerated. bump hurts if you press hard. :( ?

Abcess?: The gray discoloration could certainly be a large cavity. The lump on your palate could certainly be an abcess asthma result of the cavity. You can easily have an abscessed tooth that died without sensitivity. You need to have an examination and an xray of that tooth from your dentist.

Abscess: Tooth is probably infected and the bump is probably the abscess trying to drain. At the moment the infection is spreading through your body. Call your dentist now...Don't wait.

See a dentist: The tooth is gray from an amalgam filling, staining, or decay. The bump is most likely an infection from the tooth. This can happen even in the absence of pain. Before this "blows up" with severe pain an swelling, see a dentist to go over your options. That would be the smart thing to do. Get the rest of your mouth checked out as well.
