I've had gastric bypass and now need to have a hysterectomy. should i ask or consider a tummy tuck at the same time?

If you need one, yes: Some combinations of operations are not advised, but this is one that is; it is very safe. I generally have the gyn do the hysterectomy first and then proceed if everything has gone well... And it usually does. Good luck!

Yes: You should definitely inquire about having the procedures done concurrently as long as there is no unusual risk involved. This will allow you one recovery time rather than spread over two surgeries. If you don't know a plastic surgeon, have your gynecologist recommend one.

Nope...: You will likely need an extended abdominoplasty or a body lift. This is a large scale operation by itself. Entering the abdominal cavity in the same operation (to do the hysterectomy) will increase your risk of some rare but nasty problems such as "traveling clots." i would recommend doing the operations separately.
