Chest wall: Typically, chest pain that is worsened with activities that move the chest wall is pain that comes from the chest wall. There are muscles, bones, cartilage and joints in the chest wall and every time you move, those structures have to move. You may have injured something or just strained some part in normal daily living. Chest wall pain is rarely a sign of anything serious. Stretching may help.
