With add, how short is a short attention span?

It wanders: Distractibility and inattention are core features of attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (adhd). The distractibility can look like someone has a "short attention span, " but really is due to many things the environment grabbing the person's attention and their inability to maintain their focus on one thing. Thus their attention jumps from one thing to another often.

Causes concern: But- this really sounds like no further delay in serious discussion with a psychiatrist.
