?Your question is ?: A third or more of kids who have ADD/ADHD will grow up to have the same problem as adults. Because many recognize the issue and learn to self monitor they can do well off medication. Some choose to avoid medication due to the way it makes them feel or side effects. Some would benefit from continuing treatment into their adult years.
