Depends: If it feels ok do not worry. If it hurts alot and you are having trouble walking go to a doctor.

ICE AND REST: I the knee didn't swell or develop discoloration, this would be a favorable sign. Recommend icing the knee and resting. If severe pain and/or swelling develop, see your physician.

Agreed as the : Pneumonic goes rice. Rest, ice, compression and elevation. Nsaids or tylenol (acetaminophen) may be helpful if symptoms warrant. If it doesn't improve in 3-5 days or if you are having pain or mechanical symptoms such as locking or buckling at the knee, you may need imaging studies (x-ray's MRI or both) and may require physical therapy or surgery.
