See your dentist: Ludwig's angina is usually, not always, caused by abscess of lower teeth. It usually progress rapidly to swelling especially under the tongue. See your dentist and have him check for any cavities and/or root canal problems.

Bump: In my world a "bump" is the same thing as "swelling." It may indicate an infection, such as an abscessed tooth, a blocked salivary gland, a localized infection, and so many other things. Treatment depends on proper diagnosis. Please see a Den test for examination, imaging, and possible lab tests. The sooner you are seen, the less risk of a small problem becoming a big one.
