I have little red bumps on my tongue and they hurts, can you tell me where they come from?

Tongue Bumps: If the tiny red bumps on your tongue are painful, you most likely have inflamed papillae.. More info needed: There are many reasons for red bumps on the tongue. It can be systemic or localized. Duration, history , health, medication, diet, hygiene---some bumps are normal. Go to a dentist or oral surgeon , have photos taken, and get a diagnosis, especially if the pain increases
