Many possible causes: There are many possible causes for a lump at that location, so i would recommend a thorough evaluation by your physician. Possible causes include swollen lymph nodes, benign skin cysts, salivary gland swelling, congenital cysts, or rare tumors. Factors such as location, size, and duration make some of these more or less likely. Lymph node swelling is very common in response to local infection.
