Geodon (ziprasidone): Yes Geodon (ziprasidone) can make you sleepy. The higher the dosage can cause hypotension thus giving you the feeling that it not as effective as the lower dose.

Also consider food: Yes, ziprasidone does cause a very pronounced amount of sleep. Usually a higher does causes more sedation. However, another important variable to watch with respect to the administration of ziprasidone is whether there is food consumption occurring simultaneously. The number usually described is 500 calories and if you are eating this amount of food then it works stronger. Talk with your doctor!
